Dear Tom, I am trying to get some information on a family by the name of Klein. My great grandmother, Bajle Klein was born in Hrusovo in 1880 to her parents, Peres or Peretz

and Pearl or Perla Klein. As far as I know she had two brothers and one sister but I don’t have their names. At least one brother, and maybe both of them, immigrated to the US

before WWII, so there must be related Klein’s in the US, but I have no idea where. I wonder if somebody know anything about the Klein’s from Hrusovo ?? Thank you very much

for your help.  Yoav Eshel Yavne Israel

Subject: Janasek---Janosik
Hello, I have been recently met my father's family (he passed away when I was very young) and I have a couple of questions that they can not answer. I have found that my last

name Janasek is originally spelled Janosik and that there is a local folk hero of the same last name. Is my last name Czech or Slavic? I have my grandfather's birth certificate

(which is rather ornate) and his name was Josef Janosik, his father was Frank Janosik(Franklin equivalent? I can not tell). The name was changed as they came to America and it

is now Janasek. Can I get help doing a genealogy as well without going to one of the pay websites? Thanks A bunch! Steve Janasek originally from Phillipsburg NJ

please view and return any questions to andrew rabatin at wtravlr1@msn.com My Grandfather George Rabatin, had a brother John Rabatin, they came from Valkovce, Slovakia

in the late 1800's. My grandfather, George Rabatin married Anna Roskos this was her second marriage as her first husband died (George Roskos). Her maiden name was Anna

Marenchian also from Slovakia. George's first wife died(Anna Sabol Erickson)(Erickson was Anna's First husband.) This was also George's second marriage. George was a coal

miner in the early 1900 in eastern Pa. His first wife was Anna Sabol(maiden name) (Erickson)- Anna's fist husband.)) Sometime in the between 1900 and 1910 their first spouses

died and they were married, and settled in Farrell, Pa. So there were children from the first marriage for both and children together. Now we have information that Rabatins also

went out to the western United States, and other parts of Ohio.

Her grandmother was Marie or Maria who was the daughter of Jan Prusa (or Johann Pruscha from Gross Lowcic; who was the son of Johann Pruscha and Theresia Nowometsky) and Terezie Bohacek who was the daughter of Dominic Bohacek and his wife Anna Sprta. We believe her grandmother was born or christened on on June 18, 1869 in Gross Lowschtiz. She was baptized

by Johann Hehl parish priest.  Her father was Antonin Kepak. Her aunts and uncles were Adolf, Frantise Karolina, Paulina Frantiska, Jenovefa and Aneezka. Please contact me at
